Healthcare That Serves the Whole Community
Uganda’s communities need more than more clinics. They need more trained, compassionate health workers willing to go where the need is greatest: into homes, into villages, into the spaces between formal healthcare and the families who deserve it. Our training programme builds exactly that workforce. With hands-on skills in patient care, basic nursing, elderly support, first aid, and professional conduct, our graduates are certified by Uganda’s Ministry of Health and Ministry of Education and Sports. They go on to serve patients in homes, clinics, and communities across the country.
Minimum requirement: Uganda Certificate of Education (UCE / S.4) CTA.
Bedside Nurses
A skilled, compassionate nurse at your side can change everything whether you are recovering from surgery, managing a chronic condition, or returning home after a hospital stay. Our bedside nursing service provides dedicated professionals who deliver attentive, patient-centred care in hospitals, long-term care facilities, and the comfort of people’s own homes.
We match each patient with a nurse whose skills align with their specific needs.
Postpartum Care
The weeks after childbirth are among the most vulnerable in a woman’s life and among the least supported in Uganda’s healthcare system.
Our postpartum care service brings skilled nurses to new mothers at home. We support recovery, assist with breastfeeding, monitor healing, and provide the reassurance that every new mother deserves. Because giving birth is not the end of care, it is the beginning of a new chapter that should be walked with support.
Community Outreach
Healthcare does not belong only inside clinic walls. Our mobile clinics and community health programmes take services directly to the people who need them. We conduct health education sessions, screenings, vaccination campaigns, and partnerships with community leaders across Kampala and beyond.
We go where the gaps are greatest.
Pharmacy Services
Good healthcare does not end at the prescription. Our pharmacy team ensures every patient leaves with what they need to heal and that they understand how to use it.
We provide prescription services, medication counselling, and health consultations making the full care journey accessible in one place.
Eye Care
Clear vision matters at every age: for children learning in school, adults working to support their families, and elderly community members staying connected to the world around them.
Our eye care services include vision testing and treatment for common eye conditions, helping patients of all ages see clearly.
No One Turned Away
No patient is turned away at MUSAWO because they cannot afford care. If you or someone you know needs help but is not sure they can pay, speak to our team. We will find a way.
